Minutes of meeting of Trustees of the YUFA Trust held in the Faculty Club on 6th January, 2003 from Noon to 1.15 p.m.
Present: Paul Evans (chair - PE), Walter Whiteley (WW), Mike Copeland (MC)

1. Proposed contribution to York University / Seneca / Westview Advanced Placement Initiative (WAPP)
After briefing by WW the trustees it was proposed WW and seconded by MC, that subject to discussion with the Membership, we make a contribution of $5,000 to WAPP, renewable for up to 5 years. It was hoped that in the time before out next membership meeting there would be negotiation with the Administration for a similar or greater contribution. Carried. PE to communicate with the YUFA Foundation as to whether they would be willing to receive the funds and handle this administration of this as part of their mandate.
2. Annual General Meeting
It was agreed that the annual meeting should, if possible, be held in conjunction with the next general meeting of YUFA. PE agreed to follow up as to when this would be and whether YUFA would agree to this.
3. Web Pages
PE has put on his website recent past minutes and agendas (www.atkinson.yorku.ca/pevans). WW agreed to follow up with YUFA as to whether we can transfer this and mount future information to the YUFA website.
4. April 30, 2002 Financial Statements and Annual Report
These were reviewed. It was proposed MC and seconded by WW that the above financial statements be accepted and signed. Carried. PE to draft the annual report which should include mention of the recent retired faculty and pending WAPP contributions.
