The YUFA Trust has committed $50,000 to the York University Foundation toprovide student financial assistance for students participating in the Transition Year Program (TYP). Oour gift in two annual payments of $25,000, the first effective August 2010.
Our gift will be expended fully each year to support multiple bursaries valued at up to $1,000 for students participating in the Transition Year Program who demonstrate financial need. We understand that there are a sufficient number of students already admitted to the Transition Year Program to fully expend our initial donation. In recognition of YUFA Trust’s support, this bursary will be named the York University Faculty Association Transition Year Program (TYP) Entrance Bursary for the duration of the funding.
